The header photo was taken in 2009 at Cape Canaveral’s Space Launch Complex 34, the site of the Apollo 1 fire. This haunting picture was taken just before sunrise and shows the ruins of the launch table.
This site was an inspiration for The Seven Forgotten Leadership Lessons of the Space Race (the basis of this blog), and stands as a reminder that it’s important to remember the lessons we’ve learned and the price that we paid to learn them.
